Simple food like fried lumpia couldn’t be presented any better. That’s why I had to take a shot before the “attack”.

Yummy strawberry parfait. Used picnik for this one, decided on a cross-processed effect to focus more on the red goodness.

Takoyaki vendor. Takoyaki are balls made from flour, egg and lot of ingredients with a piece of octopus in the middle.

It’s really amazing how the vendor makes them round while cooking. They have to be real fast.

Chocolate coated babanas are a thing in Japanese festivals.

Now why do you suppose this one pink banana was placed here away from the rest?

Let the good times roll! An ice box full of beer/chu-hi goodness.

Chu-hi by the way is a drink originating in Japan, based on Shochu or Vodka. They usually come in fruit flavors or soda flavors.

And I love it. So much better that beer for those who prefer a non-bitter taste. ^^

Festival fooooood! This one’s okonomiyaki. You just mixed everything plus the egg mixture until they become one big edible lump. ^^

Sidewalk food here in Shanghai. I have no idea how they taste like whether they’re spicy, sweet or whatever.

I had to hurrily take the photo coz the Chinese cook was giving me the stink eye. Hehehehe.

I’m beginning to notice that my cellphone camera was some weird way of blurring out when I’m using the macro mode. Or I’m just making excuses for moving too much. LOL!

You’ll probably always see them in a booth somewhere during festivals here in Japan. Didn’t buy but they sure are colorful. One of these days I’m going to pig out in a festival. I need a partner though.
