Pebbles of Iwakuni

Posted by meemax under Objects
Riverside Pebbles

These pebbles were shot just below the famous Iwakuni Kintai-kyou bridge. They are only ordinary pebbles but still pretty to look at as they contribute to the landscape of the river.

Read about Iwakuni and its bridge here.

Miniature figure. Just right I guess. Miniature camera (phone camera) for a miniature setting.

Bucketful of Light

Another lantern shot. Sorry, it was sakura season so lots of sakura festivals which means a lot of lanterns especially if that festival includes a light-up (where places are being lit-up).

Sakura is the Japanese term for cherry blossoms which is probably the national flower of Japan. The sakura only blooms for one week once a year.which is why the Japanese flock and cuss over these flowers.

Windshield Reflections

I love love love the reflections on the bus’s windshield. Taken also in Nakano.

Attack of the Lantern Heads

Sakura season is here and each town is having a sakura festival!

This is in Nakano (where the cheapest 2nd hand camera shop in Tokyo can be found). Each lantern represents a donor I guess.
